Macedonia Parliament Approves New Name to North Macedonia

North Macedonia, waiting for full name approval to change.


The Macedonia parliament has approved a new name for itself, North Macedonia. It is trying to appease Greece and bring itself into NATO. The Greek parliament still needs to approve it before it is official. Macedonia is currently called Skopje, after its capital by Greece. This argument has been going on since 1991.
